What''s involved with this role: The Transformation Project Manager will lead the development, delivery, and implementation of major transformation projects, ensuring alignment with the council s wider vision and strategic objectives. The role requires applying a broad range of disciplines including business analysis, process redesign, benefits mapping, modelling, change management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver effective, evidence-based outcomes. You will work closely with project sponsors, the Transformation Programme Manager, and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure projects are properly scoped, governed, and delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. Qualifications: Recognised formal practitioner qualification in project and/or programme management (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, MSP, Agile PM, DSDM, certified Change Management) OR equivalent by significant experience. Skills and Experience required: Demonstrable experience of initiating and leading large-scale transformation projects within complex organisations. Extensive knowledge of project and programme management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Theory of Change). Strong experience in business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering using a variety of tools. Proven ability to deliver projects within a politically sensitive environment, exercising discretion, judgement, and political neutrality.
