Transformation Project Manager
6 Months
Leeds/Bradford - 1-2 days per week
-500 per day (Inside IR35)

This role requires a technically minded project leader who can manage complex technology initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex digital engineering and technology transformation projects.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, budget, quality and timelines.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Software Engineers and Operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate technical dependencies across engineering, infrastructure and business teams.
  • Drive project governance, RAID management, reporting and executive stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate planning sessions, sprint reviews and programme governance meetings.
  • Ensure customer deliverables are successfully transitioned into business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Support continuous improvement across delivery processes and engineering practices.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Significant experience delivering large-scale digital engineering or technology programmes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with Software Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure and Solution Architecture teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Experience managing distributed onshore and offshore delivery teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and forecasting.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience within Telecommunications or Media industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Exposure to AI-enabled products, Generative AI or intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD delivery models.
Personal Attributes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced technical environments.
  • Collaborative with the ability to bridge business and engineering teams.
