What will you be doing?
- Operate the Front Loading Shovel and 360-degree Excavator to transport waste safely competently on completion of relevant training
- Routine maintenance of mobile plant and equipment, including oils and water checks and reporting defects.
- Liaise with site personnel, contractors, tipping authorities and members of the haulage department
- Ensure that the correct waste types are accepted and stored correctly and any non conforming wastes are reported and dealt with accordingly
- To ensure that outgoing weights of material are maximised
- To assist with the training of new operator
- Unloading and loading of vehicles with waste
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience within a similar operational environment
- Mobile Plant licence/s - loading shovel or 360 excavator
- Full UK driving licence and own transport due to the location of the site
