MERITUS are recruiting for a Transducer Test Engineer to join our client in Yateley in a permanent position.TRANSDUCER TEST ENGINEER - £35,000 PER ANNUM - YATELEY, HAMPSHIRE (HYBRID)You will support the testing, validation, and performance analysis of underwater acoustic transducers, ensuring products meet required acoustic, electrical, and environmental standards.This role is critical in maintaining product quality, supporting new product development, and driving improvements through data-driven analysis and structured testing methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct in-air and in-water acoustic and electrical testing of transducer systemsAnalyse test data and produce clear technical reports, including root cause analysis and recommendationsUse specialist lab equipment to measure:Sound pressure levelsFrequency responseNoise and vibration characteristicsDevelop and execute test procedures aligned to acoustic and environmental standardsSupport ongoing improvement of existing products and calibration systemsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvementsContribute to the evaluation of new transducer concepts and prototype designsEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards and certification requirementsCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEssential ExperienceExperience in testing, validation, or quality-focused engineering environmentsStrong attention to detail with a structured, ..... full job details .....
