Reporting into the Finance Director, you will lead a small team and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions while driving efficiencies and process enhancements.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and ManagementLead, mentor, and develop the AP, AR, and Payroll teamsSet performance objectives and ensure high service levels across the functionPromote a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityAccounts Payable (AP)Oversee end-to-end purchase ledger processesEnsure timely supplier payments and maintain strong supplier relationshipsMonitor cash flow requirements and optimise payment cyclesAccounts Receivable (AR)Manage credit control processes to maximise cash collectionReview aged debt and implement strategies to reduce overdue balancesWork closely with commercial teams on contract billing and disputesPayrollOversee accurate and timely payroll processing (weekly/monthly)Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, CIS (Construction Industry Scheme), and statutory requirementsManage payroll queries and reportingControls and ComplianceEnsure strong internal controls across all transactional ..... full job details .....
