Reporting to the Finance Director, you''ll support the Finance Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of a team of 4 Finance Assistants, whilst playing a key role in month-end reporting and financial controls.What you''ll be doingSupervising, mentoring and supporting a team of 4 Finance AssistantsAssisting with the preparation of monthly management accountsProducing accurate monthly financial reportsCompleting month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliationsOverseeing transactional finance activities to ensure accuracy and complianceReviewing purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbook activitiesProviding guidance and resolving finance queriesPreparing VAT returns and other statutory submissionsProducing ad hoc analysis and reporting using Microsoft ExcelIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiencyBuilding strong relationships with colleagues across the organisationProviding financial support and guidance where requiredWhat we''re looking forWe''re looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys both the technical and people-focused aspects of finance and is ready to take the next step in their career.You''ll ideally have:AAT Level 4 ..... full job details .....
