ransactional Finance Supervisor Swansea Hybrid Working - 3 days WFH per week£37,000 - £39,000 This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team in a role combining management accounting, team leadership and process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Director, you''ll support the Finance Manager and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of a team of 4 Finance Assistants, whilst playing a key role in month-end reporting and financial controls. What you''ll be doing Supervising, mentoring and supporting a team of 4 Finance Assistants Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Producing accurate monthly financial reports Completing month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Overseeing transactional finance activities to ensure accuracy and compliance Reviewing purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbook activities Providing guidance and resolving finance queries Preparing VAT returns and other statutory submissions Producing ad hoc analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel Identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency Building strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation Providing financial support and guidance where required What we''re looking for We''re looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys both the technical and people-focused aspects of finance and is ready to take the next step in their career.
