This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, support a capable team member, and help ensure the smooth running of the organisation’s payments and credit control.In this role, you will:Oversee weekly payment runs and ensure all invoices are correctly checked and approved.Manage both debtors and creditors, keeping a close eye on credit control to ensure debts are chased promptly.Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy across all transactions.Take responsibility for fixed asset purchases, maintaining the asset register and posting monthly depreciation.Support and oversee the work of the Finance Officer, offering guidance where needed.Review month-end journals prepared and ensure deadlines are met.Work with colleagues to improve systems and processes, using your knowledge to ensure efficiency and accuracy.This organisation offers a supportive, close-knit working culture with a strong sense of purpose.
