Description

• Setting up the Training and Development function
• Implement and deliver Apprenticeship programme
• Deliver competency frameworks and career pathways
• Design and implement effective training programmes to meet organisational needs implementing a Training Academy
• Identify training gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
• Deliver engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually.
• Collaborate with department heads to align training initiatives with business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes, making improvements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of employee training implementing and managing a skills matrix
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in training practices.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices within the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Profile

A successful Training Manager should have:

• Proven experience in training and development within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Have implemented competency frameworks and career pathways
• Have implemented an apprenticeship scheme
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and training methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, both in-person and virtual.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in using training software and tools.
