As a Training and Development Manager in the facilities management sector, you''ll be responsible for designing and delivering effective training programmes to enhance workforce skills and compliance. Description

  • Develop and implement a company-wide learning and development strategy aligned to business objectives and workforce capability requirements.
  • Design and oversee career and development pathways for employees at all levels, supporting both operational excellence and long-term talent development.
  • Lead, coach and develop a geographically dispersed training team, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and a high-performance culture.
  • Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes across multiple sites, balancing business needs and resource availability.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to identify skills gaps, support workforce planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all mandatory, compliance and role-specific training requirements are effectively delivered and monitored.
  • Oversee the maintenance of training records, reporting, metrics and compliance data, providing regular insights to senior leadership.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, using data and business outcomes to drive improvements and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Manage training budgets and resources effectively, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise value and enhance the learner experience.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, professional development, safety and operational excellence across the organisation.

Profile

A successful National Training Manager should have:

  • Experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and measure outcomes effectively.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to influence at the highest levels of the business.
  • Strong people management experience across a multi-site structure.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from -55,000 to -60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Car allowance.
  • Hybrid working pattern.
