Training and Development Manager

to lead our learning initiatives and enhance the skills and competencies of our workforce.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing, and implementing training programs tailored to our civil engineering team. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that the training aligns with company goals and industry standards. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Assess training and development needs across the businessDesign and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning to enhance the skills of employeesCollaborate with department heads to ensure training aligns with operational goals and compliance requirementsMonitor the effectiveness of training and adjust programs as necessary to meet evolving needsManage budgets for training programs and seek opportunities for cost-effective training solutionsDevelop training materials and resources, providing guidance to trainers and facilitatorsFoster partnerships with external training providers and industry organizations for continuous learning

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a training and development role, in Construction / Civil engineering sectorStrong understanding of adult learning principles and effective training methodologiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and learnersAbility to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisionsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in developing e-learning and training materials is a plus
