Mon-Fri 6am - 3pm or 8am - 5pm

Trainee Warehouse Operative Job description:

We are seeking a reliable and organised Trainee Warehouse Operative to join our team. You''ll be responsible for various warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and mechanical processes for individuals with previous warehouse experience. We will also offer full training to the successful candidate including gaining their forklift license.-

Duties

• Performing shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading lorries and containers
• Handling materials and products with care to prevent damage
• Utilising warehouse management system to track inventory and update records

Experience:

• Must be able to lift 25kg
• Must have a current valid driving license

We will cover the costs for the successful applicant to gain their forklift license as part of the Trainee role.-

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods of time
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
• Awareness of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations
