Trainee Vehicle Mechanic

TRAINEE VEHICLE MECHANIC - Stroud, Gloucestershire (GL6) Recruitment Specialists Kingston Barnes Ltd are currently recruiting for a Trainee or Junior Mechanic for a permanent role based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, (GL6 Postcode area) FULL DETAILS = Positions Available = Trainee or Junior Mechanic Start Date = As soon as possible Duties = Working with and learning from an experienced team, you will be working as a fitter/mechanic to repair and maintain a growing fleet of vehicles and plant. The work ranges from small items of two stroke equipment to larger HGVs and construction plant. There will be training, so a trainee or junior Mechanic or newly qualified person would be ideal for this position. Pay Rate and Hours = £15.00 per hour and 40 hours per week. (Equates to a salary of £31,200 per year) Other details = This is a permanent position. Applicants need to be able to drive the company vehicles, so a full driving licence held for over 2 years is essential. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am until 5pm, Friday 8am until 2pm 20 days holidays per year plus bank holidays paid. There will be an opportunity to complete training including obtaining a category C, HGV licence.
