Trainee Swimming Teacher

All of our Swimming Teachers are qualified to at least STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming. The STA qualifications are nationally recognised and will give you the skills to teach non-swimmers, beginners, and improvers. If you have a passion and talent for swimming, you could be part of our team of Swimming Teachers and help give people of all ages a valuable life skill. We are the largest Swimming School in the UK and our continued growth means we are looking to qualify and employ a growing number of Swimming Teachers. So, if you''d like the opportunity to gain the qualifications and training needed to teach people of all ages and abilities how to swim, apply to be a Trainee Swimming Teacher. Successful applicants will be fully funded to complete their STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming. We have a range of hours available across weekdays and weekends. The next available STA Level 2 Award Course will be run at Hillingdon Sports and Leisure Complex, 14th,15th,18th,21st and 22nd September 2026 What you need: A competent swimmer. A good communicator (verbal and non-verbal). A good motivator (supportive and able to give feedback). Approachable and patient in nature. Imaginative. Willing to learn and commit to a 5-day intensive training course. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
