Trainee Soldering Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical machinery on the Leicester/Coventry border between Hinckley and Nuneaton for a Trainee Soldering Technician to join its expanding team.

THE ROLE

It will be the role of the Trainee Soldering Technician to be responsible for a number of technical roles within the engineering team.

Duties will include:

• Gauging and measurement work

• Laser Etching and control

• Soldering and Test work

• Learning and Development

THE CANDIDATE

In order to succeed in the role of Trainee Soldering Technician you will need to have a range of skills including good fine motorskills and hand eye coordination as well as a basic soldering. You will need to be motivated and happy to work in a hands on engineering environment. This role would suit and a college leaver with a basic technical understanding who is looking to start a career in the manufacturing industry, or an apprentice technician or engineer looking for a new challenge.
