Trainee Road Repair Operator

You will be the face of the company representing Velocity to clients and public a like, you will be required to travel around the country fixing potholes for a fortnight at a time before returning home for a long weekend.Key role responsibilities:•Operate the Road Patching Machine to complete road repairs.•Ensure work meets client, safety, and environmental standards.•Complete daily/weekly reports using a tablet or smartphone.•Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.•Assist with minor repairs and machine calibration.•Work closely with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.The ideal candidate must have:.CSCS Card•Minimum 2 years driving experience preferred.•Confident using smartphones/tablets for reporting.•Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.•Right to live and work in the UK.•Be prepared to work from home for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.The following would be preferred:•Class 1 or 2 driving licence.•Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardWhat s provided:•Smartphone and/or tablet.•Subsistence up to £30 per 24 hours (where applicable). ..... full job details .....
