Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Role Overview We are looking for a Trainee Recruiter to join our busy and growing recruitment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated individual looking to start or develop a career within recruitment. The successful candidate will receive full training and will learn how to manage the recruitment process from sourcing candidates through to placement. You will work closely with experienced recruiters and use recruitment systems including Matrix and Prism CRM to manage vacancies, candidates, communication and recruitment activity. The role is fast-paced and target-driven, requiring someone who is confident speaking to people, organised, commercially aware and motivated by achieving results. Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing Source candidates using recruitment databases, job boards, and other online platforms. Search the Matrix database for suitable candidates against live vacancies. Use Prism CRM to identify, manage and track candidate activity. Conduct Boolean and keyword searches to identify suitable candidates. Review CVs and assess candidates against job descriptions and essential criteria. Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline. Contact prospective candidates by telephone, email and other communication channels. Develop relationships with candidates and maintain regular communication.
