Trainee Protection Consultant

Our client is a successful, directly authorised life brokerage providing a range of life and protection products to consumers on a non-advice basis. As part of the growth plans they are seeking to appoint trainee Life and Protection consultant to join their established team in Farnborough.This is an employed role with a starting salary of £26,000.Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 9.30 to 7 pm and 9 to 5 pm Friday.To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following: Proven track record in working to targets in telesales.Ability to build rapport and trust with potential customers, with demonstrable experience in overcoming objections and any initial reluctance to continue the call.A genuine desire to build knowledge around Life, Protection and Critical Illness products.Able to adopt a consultative sales approach with potential clients.Have a tenacious outlook with drive and determination to be the best.Realistic OTE is between £42-46,000Once established you will be considered for a promotion to senior consultant, this results in a significant salary increase and an OTE which can exceed £70,000.
