JOB TITLE: Trainee Pre-Press Support JOB SUMMARY: The Trainee Pre-Press Support will receive comprehensive training across a range of pre-press functions, including CAD design, artwork preparation, and plate making. THE ROLE: CAD Use ArtiosCAD software to design packaging constructions. Produce carton samples using a cutting table. Prepare multi-up layouts for tooling and production. Create varnish blanket files and cut varnish blankets for printing presses. Liaise with customers, sales teams, and production departments to ensure projects are de-livered efficiently and accurately. Artwork: Review and preflight customer artwork files to ensure they are print-ready. Produce and issue accurate customer proofs for approval. Carry out reprographic work for lithographic printing production. Platemaking: Complete step-and-repeat layouts of approved artwork. ..... full job details .....
