Trainee Miller Location: Oxfordshire Salary: £28,000 per annum Hours: Initially Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm during training, progressing onto a shift pattern which includes 12 hour day and night shifts Training: Full training provided, including a Distance Learning Programme (DLP). The Opportunity We are recruiting for a Trainee Miller to join a well-established and rapidly growing flour manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a manual, hands on or labouring background who is looking to learn a skilled trade and develop a long term career within the milling industry. No previous milling experience is required. Full training will be provided, including a structured Distance Learning Programme, so attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are key. This is a traditional mill environment where much of the machinery is operated manually rather than being fully automated. So, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys practical, hands on work and is comfortable learning how machinery operates.
