Job description: Pay: £40,000 starting salary After 3 6 months: £45,000 After 12 months: £53,500 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Deputy or Senior looking to step up into a Trainee Children s Residential Manager role for an Ofsted-registered Children s Home in Bury. This is a full-time, permanent position offering structured mentoring and full support from a Senior Manager to help you develop into the role. The home will provide care for between 1 and 3 children. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality care while progressing into management, making a real difference to the lives of the young people we support.Location: Bury Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm Responsibilities Support the daily operations of the children s home, ensuring a safe and positive environment for residents Deliver high-quality care in line with individual care plans and Ofsted standards Develop leadership skills under the guidance and mentoring of a Senior Manager Build positive, trusting relationships with children to promote resilience, independence, and personal development Contribute to safeguarding practices, risk assessments, and the overall wellbeing of residents Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and external professionals Uphold the highest standards of care, professionalism, and ethical conduct Requirements NVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children s Residential Care (or equivalent) Experience as a Deputy or Senior in an Ofsted-registered ..... full job details .....
