Trainee Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Trainee Maintenance Technician Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Ref. No: 1036 Salary: 28,414.00 per annum Shifts: 2 x 12-hour days, 2 x 12-hour nights, followed by 6 days off (inclusive of holiday allowance) Please note you must have full and legal rights to work in the UK or Ireland. (We cannot sponsor or support VISA applicants). About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Maintenance Technician to join our Resident Maintenance Team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day preventative and corrective maintenance activities within a busy automated warehouse environment, ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with all safety and quality standards. Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities on automated equipment and systems. Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and in accordance with legislation, site risk assessments, and company procedures. Work collaboratively as part of the Resident Maintenance Team to achieve operational targets. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Requirements: Qualification within Mechanical or Electrical engineering (advantageous but not essential). Previous experience within a maintenance or automated warehouse environment (advantageous but not essential).
