Graduate Trainee Bespoke Furniture Junior Project AssistantArmstrong Vinton Furniture Ltd Parsons Green, LondonArmstrong Vinton Furniture is looking for a Graduate Trainee who wants to build a career in the bespoke furniture and joinery industry.This is a two-year training programme offering practical experience across the whole business, from learning how furniture is made on the workshop floor to developing the technical and commercial skills needed to manage projects.The aim of the programme is to prepare you for a permanent position as a Junior Project Assistant, supporting our Project Managers with technical drawings, site surveys, CNC production, estimating, procurement and the coordination of bespoke furniture projects from design through to installation.You may have a relevant diploma, foundation Degree or BA (Hons), perhaps in furniture design, product design, furniture making, interiors or a related subject. More importantly, you will have a genuine interest in high-quality furniture, materials and craftsmanship, and be keen to understand how bespoke projects are designed, manufactured and delivered.What You ll LearnDuring the programme, you will gain experience in:Workshop practice and furniture-making techniques.Working alongside apprentice and experienced Cabinetmakers.Materials, fittings, finishes and construction methods.Technical drawing and draughting.Site surveying and setting out.CNC programming and production.Project management.Estimating and preparing ..... full job details .....
