Trainee Field Service Engineer

The Opportunity An opportunity to join a small but growing company, installing, servicing and repairing large format printers for a major manufacturer. This role would suit someone starting their career or looking for a career change, with an interest in driving, fixing things and mechanical or electrical engineering. Previous experience is desirable but not essential - enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a long-term interest in the business are key.Location: Leeds Area - home-based with travelSalary: Starting at 25,000, with more available for the right applicantVehicle: Company car or fully expensed use of your own vehicleJob Type: Full-time, PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, service and repair large format printers at customer sites.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and basic IT-related issues.Provide excellent customer service and build positive customer relationships.Identify potential equipment upgrades and new sales opportunities.Travel mainly across the Leeds to Newcastle corridor, with nationwide travel when required.Attend overseas training and stay away overnight when necessary, with hotel expenses covered.What We''re Looking ForA practical interest in fixing things and understanding how equipment works.An interest in electrical and mechanical engineering.A basic understanding of computer networks and Microsoft applications.A full, clean driving licence and a valid passport.Applicants must be over 21.A passion for delivering outstanding customer ..... full job details .....
