We are working with an expanding client based on the border of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire seeking a Trainee Fermentation Chef on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for candidate with a passion for health and nutrition to pave a career with a food and drink producer is dedicated to health, sustainability, and innovation.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role offering the opportunity to work alongside New Product Development (NPD) and marketing teams, crafting creative food and drink products, preparing meals for events, and contributing to engaging content creation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assisting in the development of new fermented food and drink products using
  • Preparing seasonal, health-focused meals and tastings for farm tours, influencer visits, and events.
  • Maintaining a clean, efficient, and creative kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
  • Supporting the creation of recipes, video demonstrations, and social media content in the on-site filming kitchen.
  • Participating in fermentation trials and tastings to refine product concepts.
  • Representing the brand during on-site events, filming days, and guest visits.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong interest in fermentation, gut health, and sustainable food systems.
  • Kitchen experience (professional or personal) with a passion for learning and experimentation.
  • Creative mindset and willingness to explore new ideas.
  • Confidence in engaging with people and participating in video or media content.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic, collaborative team.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a fast-growing, purpose-driven company
