Our client requires a brake press operator/sheet metal worker to join their expanding team. Previous experience is not necessary as full in-house training is provided.
Hours of work are Monday- Thursday 8.00am- 5.30pm, and Friday finish at 5pm and there is the occasional opportunity for overtime.
The role includes the following:
* Operation of CNC bake presses, guillotines and other sheet metal machinery (full training provided)
* Using hand tools
* Basic sheet metal fabrication work
* Working accurately to drawings and instructions from your manager
* Housekeeping and general workshop duties
* Operating within safety guidelines
The successful applicant will ideally hold the following skills/attributes:
* Maths & English GCSE Grade 4
* Ability to multi-task
* Able to work to deadlines
* Must have full driving licence and use of own vehicle due to location.
