At its core, electroplating uses an electrical current to deposit a thin layer of metal (like chromium, nickel, or cadmium) onto a component. It''s a mix of hands-on engineering, chemistry, and precision workmanship, and it plays a crucial role in keeping aircraft components safe and airworthy.This role is ideal for someone with some experience in an engineering environment and a strong willingness to learn a specialised trade.
