Trainee Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker Location: HMP Onley, Rugby. Please note that this location is rural, therefore, access to your own transport is essential for this role. Salary: £23,200 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent We are looking for a motivated and committed Trainee Recovery Support Practitioner to join our team and develop the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to build a rewarding career supporting people in recovery. As part of the traineeship, you will work alongside experienced members of the team, shadowing colleagues and receiving guidance, mentoring and support as you develop your skills. You will receive the training and development needed to become competent and confident in the role, with regular reviews to ensure you remain on track to successfully complete your traineeship. You will also undertake external supervision as part of the programme. A key part of the traineeship will be balancing practical, hands-on experience with study towards a nationally recognised qualification, subject to eligibility criteria. Throughout the traineeship, you will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience in: Planning and managing a caseload effectively. Reviewing ongoing care and treatment and liaising closely with healthcare professionals and other agencies. Co-facilitating groups and programmes to the required standard.
