About the role We are seeking a Trainee Counsellor for a flexible, unpaid placement at the EFI Group. This opportunity is ideal for students currently undertaking a Degree, Master''s, or equivalent counselling qualification who have received ethical approval and require placement hours to complete their course. Working hours will be agreed in line with your availability and course requirements. You will provide short to medium term counselling (3-12 sessions) to students aged 16+, supporting their mental health, emotional wellbeing, and personal development. Early intervention and compassionate support are key to helping learners build resilience and achieve their full potential. We are looking for a personable and empathetic trainee with a genuine interest in supporting young people in further and higher education.
