The role of Trainee Commercial Tyre Fitter is a full-time, permanent position based in Colchester, offering a starting salary of £33,000+ per annum. The successful candidate will join a well-established independent company operating across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire. This position involves learning to fit commercial tyres, working both independently and as part of a team after training. Full training and company vehicle provision are included, with the candidate covering designated service areas.

About the Company:
They are an established independent company operating 38 fully equipped Commercial Tyre fitting vans throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. They are looking to expand their team based in Ipswich.
Role & Requirements:
The candidate will be hard working, professional and dedicated with a positive and flexible attitude to work who is willing to learn a hard trade and reap great rewards.
This role is all about finding a team player with the right attitude to fit within a similar minded team.
Once trained the candidate will be working both on their own and within a team covering Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, parts of Bedfordshire and parts of Northamptonshire.
No Prior experience necessary for this role.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-17.30 Saturday 7.00-12.30.
Starting Salary £33k - once trained to cover basic truck work competently up to £35k (usually within 2-3months), then up to £38,00 once competently covering truck, van and small plant (usually 6 months), then up to £40k basic once capable to cover truck, van, plant, Earthmover, fleet management (usually within 9-12months).
Once trained and capable the candidate will go on the Out of Hours Callout rota worth approx. £8-12k PA.
Monthly bonus, Overtime on top of Basic and Callouts.
