Trainee CAD Engineer

Instastaff are currently recruiting for a Trainee CAD Engineer to join a company based in Aston on a permanent basis. You must have a BTEC, NVQ or Apprenticeship qualification in either Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, CAD Engineering or Engineering Design.The duties of the Trainee CAD Engineer will be: Create and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings and modelsProduce manufacturing and assembly drawingsSupport engineering documentation and bills of materials (BOMs)Assist with prototype builds and product testing activitiesSupport engineering change updates and drawing revisionsLiaise with suppliers regarding component drawings and manufactured partsAssist with technical documentation, quotations, and tender submissionsWork closely with engineering, production, and purchasing teams The ideal Trainee CAD Engineer will have: Experience using 2D and 3D CAD softwareProficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingUnderstanding of metals and plastics, CNC machining, sheet metal bending, welding, and castingExperience with CAD software such as: Hours of work for the Trainee CAD Engineer are Monday Friday 8.30am 5pmSalary for the Tranee CAD Engineer is ..... full job details .....
