In fact, the person who did this role very successfully (before being promoted into a more senior BDM role), came from an underwriting background. You will be responsible for promoting the company''s suite of commercial insurance products to a panel of brokers all over the UK. Your duties will include, but certainly not be limited to, making Discovery telephone calls to brokers in order to find out what kind of business they are writing, and which of this insurer''s products will be relevant to them.
