Trainee Accounts Assistant

About the Role
Sytner Select Wolverhampton is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Accounts Assistant.
This is a fantastic chance to begin your career in finance within the automotive industry. As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will receive full training and support to develop your skills across a variety of core accounting functions. This will include assisting with sales and purchase ledger processing, daily banking tasks, cash posting, and helping with bank reconciliations.
You will also have the opportunity to support the Dealership Accountant and wider management team with additional tasks, gaining broad experience in a professional and fast-paced environment.
Our Accounts Assistants typically work Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required to support the wider team when needed.
About You
No previous accounting experience is necessary – this is a trainee position designed for someone looking to start a career in finance. However, you should have:
- A keen interest in accounting and business administration
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
When applying for this role, please consider that we require candidates to have a minimum GCSE grade 4/C in Maths and English as a minimum requirement.
