Trainee Accountant

This is an office-based role with study support available and the chance to build a long-term career within a business that genuinely invests in development.About the role The Trainee Accountant will support a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, and High Net Worth Individuals. Key responsibilities will include:Bookkeeping support across a client portfolioMonitoring preparation and filing of VAT returnsPreparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and statutory accounts (plus supporting tax computations)Preparing personal and corporate tax returnsSupporting payroll tasks from time to timeCompanies House compliance, including Annual Confirmation Statements The role offers clearly defined objectives, varied work and the freedom to plan workload effectively, with regular feedback in a collaborative environment.
