Trainee Accountant

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a growing and successful South Yorkshire business to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join their finance team in Barnsley on a 12-month fixed-term contract.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the earlier stages of their accounting career who is looking for a varied role where they can develop their skills across sales ledger, credit control, invoicing, customer service and wider finance administration.The role will see you working closely with the Group Financial Controller, and you will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting customer accounts and contributing to the smooth running of the day-to-day finance function.The role offers excellent variety and would suit someone who is organised, proactive and keen to learn.
