Trainee 1st Line Support Engineer Location: AldershotSalary: £25,000 per annumStart Date: 14th September 2026 About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee 1st Line Support Engineer to join a friendly and growing IT team based in Aldershot. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a CompTIA qualification, BTEC Level 3 in IT, or equivalent IT course and is looking to start their career within IT Support. Key Responsibilities Provide first-line support to customers via phone, email, and remote support tools. Assist users with basic IT issues such as password resets, login problems, and application errors. Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate more complex cases to senior engineers when required. Support customers with remote access and connectivity issues. Accurately log support tickets and maintain customer records within the helpdesk system. Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software. Attend customer sites alongside senior engineers to support system implementations and installations. Learn and develop knowledge of networks, operating systems, and business applications. Provide general administrative support to the IT team when required.
