TRAILER TECHNICIAN – MOBILE & WORKSHOP

Salary: Up to £40,404 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday + every other Saturday morning
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

TRAILER TECHNICIAN – UP TO £40,404

Are you an experienced Trailer Technician or Trailer Mechanic looking for a varied role with a mix of mobile work and workshop-based repairs?

We''re looking for a reliable and hands-on Trailer Technician to join a growing team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or semi-skilled technician with trailer experience who wants a long-term career, regular Monday–Friday working and the opportunity to increase their earnings through additional Saturday work.

The Role

You''ll work across both the workshop and mobile environment, carrying out trailer maintenance, repairs and breakdown work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining trailers
• Carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and rectifying trailer faults
• Attending mobile trailer breakdowns
• Carrying out roadside repairs where required
• Inspecting trailers and identifying defects
• Preparing trailers for MOT and inspections
• Completing repair records and paperwork
• Working safely and maintaining high Health & Safety standards
• Supporting the wider workshop team when required

About You

We''re looking for a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Trailer Engineer or Semi-Skilled Technician with:

• Previous experience working on trailers
• Trailer servicing and repair experience
• Good mechanical and fault-finding skills
• A practical, hands-on approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable and professional attitude
• A full UK driving licence

Semi-skilled technicians with relevant trailer experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience with HGV trailers, semi-trailers, curtainsiders, box trailers or similar equipment would be advantageous.
