Trailer and Car Transport Specialist Swindon Monday to Friday - 6.00am to 4.00pm with hour unpaid lunch break. Every third Saturday - 8.00am to 12noon. Permanent Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for a Trailer and Car Transport Specialist to join our client in their Swindon depot. The candidate must have: Safely transport cars, vans, trailers, and other vehicles to customer locations, workshops, auctions, and designated sites. Load, secure, and unload vehicles using approved equipment and methods. Conduct pre-use and post-use inspections of transport vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Ensure all loads are secured correctly and comply with legal requirements before travel. Complete vehicle condition reports and obtain customer signatures where required. Maintain accurate transport records, delivery documentation, and job updates. Plan routes efficiently to meet collection and delivery schedules. Communicate professionally with customers regarding collection and delivery arrangements. Report vehicle damage, defects, incidents, or delays promptly to management. Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance of trailers, transport equipment, and company vehicles. Adhere to all company health and safety procedures, road traffic regulations, and transport compliance requirements. Assist with depot operations and vehicle movements as required.
