This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design, development and delivery of parking, traffic management, road safety and transportation projects, while managing stakeholders, consultations and project delivery from conception through to implementation.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering traffic and parking schemes, providing professional engineering advice, supporting junior staff and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), Permit Parking Areas (PPAs), Pay by Phone schemes, Junction Protection, Traffic Calming and Yellow Box Junction projects.Manage and deliver parking, traffic management, road safety and transportation projects from inception through to implementation.Review and develop parking controls, shared use bays, loading bays and kerbside management proposals.Design schemes in accordance with TSRGD, DfT guidance and industry best practice.Prepare designs, drawings, technical reports, committee reports, consultation m...
