Traffic Marshall Required in Consett, near Durham - Long term work

Our specialist Trades & Labour team are seeking a Traffic Marshal for a job in Consett,near Durham.

Working on behalf of the Principal contractor you will be responsible for:

• Recording deliveries and monitoring the visitors log book
• Banking vehicles through the site entrance
• Following Site Traffic Management plans
• Communicating effectively with site and plant operatives
• Monitoring pedestrian routes and safety zones

During quieter periods, you will be expected to help out with general site labouring duties.

The work will carry on until Christmas.

Due to the location of the site it is advantageous if you have your own transport.

A Traffic Marshall must:

• Hold a valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman ticket.
• Hold a valid CSCS Card
• Have full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment - Hard Hat, boots, hi-vis, gloves & goggles).
• Be hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work alone on your own initiative or as part of a team.
