TRAFFIC MARSHAL - SOLAR PV - SOLAR FARM - CONSTRUCTION UK -CONTRACT

Job Overview:
A utility-scale Solar PV construction project is seeking a Traffic Marshal to manage and control vehicle movements across the site. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe access and egress for construction traffic while maintaining a safe working environment for personnel and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control and coordinate all vehicle movements entering and exiting the construction site.

  • Ensure delivery vehicles are directed safely to the correct site locations.

  • Maintain safe separation between vehicles, plant and personnel.

  • Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators and site teams.

  • Ensure traffic routes and site access points remain safe and unobstructed.

  • Monitor compliance with site traffic management plans.

  • Assist with enforcing site health and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction or infrastructure sites.

  • Valid Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman certification.

  • CSCS Card.

  • Strong awareness of site traffic management and safety procedures.

  • Good communication skills and ability to manage site access efficiently.

Contract Details:

  • Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

  • Duration: 12 months (with extension potential)

  • Location: Cullompton, Devon - Site Based

  • Start Date: ASAP
