Traffic Marshal / BanksmanJob Title - Traffic Marshal / BanksmanLocation - BS11Job OverviewWe are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Traffic Marshal / Banksman to join our team on a busy construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the safe movement of vehicles, plant and pedestrians around the site.You will work closely with site management, drivers, plant operators and other site personnel to maintain a safe and organised working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and control the movement of vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the site.Safely guide HGVs, delivery vehicles, plant and other vehicles into designated areas.Assist drivers with reversing and manoeuvring where required.Maintain clear separation between pedestrians, vehicles and site operations.Use appropriate hand signals and communication methods when directing vehicles.Monitor site access and ensure vehicles follow designated routes.Assist with deliveries and ensure vehicles are positioned safely.Maintain a clean, safe and organised traffic management area.Report hazards, unsafe behaviour, accidents or near misses to the Site Manager.Follow all site traffic management plans, RAMS and health and safety procedures.Ensure visitors, delivery drivers and contractors follow site safety requirements.Wear appropriate PPE and maintain high standards of site safety at all times.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Traffic Marshal, Banksman or in a similar construction ..... full job details .....
