Traffic Engineer

A Local Authority in South West London is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to support the delivery of a range of highways and transportation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work on meaningful schemes that directly impact the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake allocated projects, tasks, and functions across Traffic, Parking, Transport, and Highway Services
• Deliver projects from inception through to completion, including feasibility studies, design work, CAD drawings, and technical reporting
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including raising orders, supervising contractors, and processing invoices
• Ensure all work meets required targets, quality standards, and complies with relevant legislation, TfL requirements, and Local Authority policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in traffic engineering or highways-related projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently from design through to delivery
• Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices
• Competency in CAD and technical reporting

Working Arrangements:

• Hybrid working
• Must be able to attend the office in South West London 3 days per week
