Traffic Engineer

Contract: Initial 6 months
Rate: £40-45 per hour
 
I am recruiting for an experienced Traffic Engineer to support the delivery of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and small traffic management schemes.
 
This role would suit a self-sufficient engineer who can manage schemes with minimal supervision and is confident working across the full design and delivery process.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Design and delivery of TROs and small traffic measure schemes
·Production of drawings using KeySIGN and KeyLINES
·Managing schemes from concept through to implementation
·Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
·Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation
Essential Experience:
·Strong background in TROs and small traffic schemes
·Very experienced user of KeySIGN and KeyLINES
·Able to work independently with little supervision
·Local authority highways experience preferred
