Our client, a rapidly growing Systematic Hedge Fund, is looking for a pragmatic and commercially minded Reliability Engineer with strong C++ development skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in tech or finance and a strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies.If successful, you will be able to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems, in addition to collaborating with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.What you will do

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systemsMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operationCollaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performanceDevelop and implement automation tools to streamline operationsEnsure security and compliance standards are metRequirements

Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a similar roleStrong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologiesProficiency in C++ development, with additional knowledge of Python or C# being a plusExperience with monitoring and logging toolsCommercially oriented mindset with a focus on business outcomesExperience working on the buy side is a significant positiveExperience with low latency order entry or market data systems is highly desirableSeniority level
