Trading Manager Location: HarrowWork Pattern: 35 hours per week. _Purpose of RoleNegotiate volume/time driven contracts in line with the Central Distribution centres to ensure strong availability and efficient logistics across our own label offering.Our Success FrameworkTechnical (The Role)Financial Responsibility (Delivery and management of agreed budgetsIncome budgets - over riders, promotional key monies, marketing Multiple retail group bonuses Secondary income streams - Income for Conferences and other events Cost of goods Turnover of products in controlNegotiating national terms• First lead in the negotiation in their category, with strategic planning support and coaching from line manager• Prepare presentations or comms that would be presented to the with Line manager support to reach alignment/sign off• Support some day-to-day work of Assistant Trading Manager (ATM) with reference to Senior Manager or above to ensure ATM is developing skills and is an asset to the departmentDelivering National income budget• Forecasting for all schemes with understanding of potential risks and engaging with relevant stakeholders to resolve and manage associated impact• Work with brand to identify and develop new products that meet all relevant requirements (Price, promotion, customer need, availability etc).
