Job Title: Trades Supervisor Type: Permanent Location: Bridgend Salary: £34,542 Hours: Full-time BRC are working closely with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Home Safety Officer Team Leader to oversee a team of Home Safety Officers and support the delivery of Small Projects and Hospital to Home services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong team leadership, health and safety, property maintenance and operational experience, who can ensure high standards of workmanship, customer care and compliance across a range of services supporting older people in the community. Duties Line manage and support Home Safety Officers, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and good practice. Carry out regular site spot checks to monitor customer care, health and safety and quality of workmanship. Undertake quarterly technical audits of selected schemes and external contractor works. Coordinate van checks, equipment and PPE requirements. Manage annual leave and flexi-time requests while maintaining appropriate staffing levels. Monitor stock levels across the yard and vans and coordinate ordering with Finance and management. Produce regular stock reports and ensure materials, receipts, delivery notes and invoices are accurately managed. Lead regular toolbox talks and maintain appropriate attendance records.
