Category Buying Closing Date 6 July 2026 CATEGORY TRADE PLANNING ASSISTANT Asda is looking for a Trade Planning Assistant to work alongside our Trade Planning teams on a full-time and permanent contract basis. This is a key development role for anyone looking to broaden their skill set and would suit someone with a buying or marketing background. This role reports into the Trade Planning Manager, which forms part of the commercial team and will cover all channels and formats. The key areas of responsibility will be to support: Key stakeholder between buying, supply, merchandising and central retail operation teams to manage end-to-end critical path to deliver ''right first time'' promotional plan for the business unit. Work closely with the Trade Planning Managers to select and prioritise key promotional activity to share with the central customer teams - gaining marketing support for business unit activity. Liaise with in-store marketing (POS) to ensure execution of promotional and seasonal POS.
