Trade Counter Sales - Builders Merchants

Our client is a well-respected timber and builders merchant. Due to their continued success and expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity as we are recruiting a Trade Counter Sales person to join their team. The key responsibilities of this role include: Be the first point of contact for customers arriving at the branch Service customers over the trade counter and over the telephone Provide good customer service and good advice on products for their customers Make proactive sales calls to new and existing customers Helping out in the yard when needed and operate and forklift truck for unloading and loading vehicles The ideal candidate would need to have a good knowledge of building materials and have a good understanding or the construction supplies industry.
