Trade Counter Sales Assistant - Watford GBP32,000 per annum Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.30pm Friday 7am - 4pm Saturday 7.30am - 10.30am Permanent role Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant for our client in Watford. The main objectives are to provide customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service at the same time optimising branch sales and profit. The key responsibilities of the Trade Counter Sales Assistant are: Build effective relationships with customers in order to understand their requirements, ensuring correct products are supplied. Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers. Maintain a clean and efficiently merchandised counter area in line with Company Policy. To efficiently work as part of a team that our customer expectations are not just met but exceeded. Ensure that company policies are followed at all times when producing paperwork associated with sales. Liaise with suppliers and other branches, departments where necessary. Support the Branch Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively within Company Policy. Perform any other duties including stock-taking, placing orders with suppliers, contacting customers and as maybe deemed or as required by the Company.
